Wonderfull Wonderfalls, and the tragedy that is premature axing

I caught like one episode of this show way back when it was first airing in like 2004-05 or something like that, and then it just disappeared, POOF, like that. Apparently it was axed after only 4 episodes, which quite frankly stuns me, because it’s bright, quirky, intelligent and funny, and you don’t see that on TV much. On second thought, maybe I’m not so stunned, this isn’t exactly a show for the mindless masses. It’s more of a “cult following” kind of show, like American Gothic or Firefly.

I consider myself profoundly lucky to have stumbled upon it again, and to be able to track it down, so I can finally watch it all. I plan to pimp it to all my friends and family too. I think maybe, if enough people recognise this show for the awesomeness it is, then maybe it will work out like the monkeys and the sweet potatoes, and humanity will begin to recognise good TV, en masse.
